People in action sports, are by definition trying to break boundaries and find new and exciting things to do. They are the best content creators, they are imaginative and rely on the community to grow, learn and inspire one another: OUTBND is here to help them do that
The OUTBND brand stands for everything Action Sports, we are not meant for the masses: we are meant for YOU.
That's why our tone is not "mainstream": We're loud, we're visible and we like to do things OUR way.
But what's our way?
Simple: we show you things the way you want them and we give you a platform to talk about it and connect with one another.
We want to be the Adrenaline Hub, the one place you'll need for anything related to the amazing action sports world.

The idea actually came from a class project where the intent was to disrupt an existing company/industry.
Back then (2017) GoPro was at the lowest market value after a year in which cheaper options and new drones came out. We loved deeply that brand and we thought it would be an amazing place to start. We started analyzing the brand and we realized that it wasn’t leveraging enough the creators they had.
Our idea was then to create something for them. As soon as we started working on it, we realized that this had the potential to also grow behind “GoPro” and that the social shouldn’t be limited to GoPro clients, but to anyone who love Action Sports, moving the brand from a tech brand to a lifestyle brand with a tech component.
As soon as we finished our masters we thought to actually bring this to life, adding features and adjusting it until we released a first version in December 2019, which was quickly taken off the market and re-launched in August 2020.
